Today, I’m going to talk about my favorite plant. I believe that all of us, Forestry’s student, think that we must have a favorite plant but I haven’t think about it. I love too much the plants and I don’t choose one as my favorite. This occasion, I choose Luma apiculata , commonly known as Arrayán.   Luma apiculata belongs to the Mytaceae family, of the Angiosperm group. It is a native species of Chile which it has a wide distribution throughout country we can find it among IV – XI region, in hydrophilic forest, on the shore of lakes and water courses. This plant is very common, it is easy recognition as Quillay and Peumo and it don’t result be very attractive for much people, but It is attractive for me. I like its white flowers with large stamens (that this is characteristics of the family). It has an orange trunk and it usually doesn’t be straight totally.   This species has a particular aroma; in fact we can recognize it for this characteristic. So... that’s it...

Hi everyone!  Today I must talk about a subject that I enjoy studying this semester. Truly, I don´t enjoy to study some subject this semester because I have a few subject and not ones I like it enough. So, in my third semester (Now, I’m in fifth semester) my subjects were more specifics and hard, but I like the contents so much. My favorite subjects of that semester probably was "Structure and Functioning of Ecosystems" because in this one I learned about ecology, basically the relation of the organisms with the environment, also can be between organisms.  Study this subject was enjoyed, because I understood and connected all the ecological processes within an ecosystem. Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about a website related with my career.  It’s www.mendely.com. This one isn’t just a website, also operated as application and it's deliver a service more complete. Mendeley is a free reference manager and an academic social network which can help you discover research, since the researchs ancient to the ones more updated. It’s allowed for get a library that you can read, attach and organize all your references. Also, this application allow for citation creation. The use of Mendeley must be by a account, but it’s easy and free! I suggest plenty. It can help much for your investigation work. I use a lot of this application, always. However, I don’t know utilize all its functions. I’m learning! Personally, I use this one because I’m discovering the investigation world.
